My screen saver would not kick-in on my XP system. After scanning several blogs and internet support forum, I found the solution to my problem. It is very simple. Remove the PowerDVD program from your computer and your screen saver will work. Go to Start , click Control Panel, click Add/Remove programs, and remove PowerDVD program. It is as simple as that! I do not use PowerDVD so I did not reinstall it on my computer. You may want ensure you can re-install PowerDVD if you intend to use it in the future. Good Luck!
